Drysuit seal fragility

AZ is a hard place on anything rubber. I killed seals in short order a couple of times. Went to a silicone system. Best thing I ever did. I have lost one neck seal and one wrist seal in that time. Both look to be environment related, as in a rock or grain of sand cut the seal. Changed both at home in minutes. Bring a spare set of seals with me in the mini drysuit save a dive kit (old mask box). The zipper is what I worry about.

Downside of the silicone is they mount in a ring system. I have been running the ring system so long now I don't even notice or care. Feels natural to me.
