How do you all dry the inside of an smb? Mine got some water in it and after I got out as much as I could i hung it up with the vent removed to dry but after a month it hasn't lol Any suggestions?

Blow it up, hang to dry, dump from valve. I usually just rinse it off rolled up and put it away. When I deploy it, I just drain the water before I fold it up.

I don't feel like it needs to be sterile inside. If you are concerned just pour in some soapy water and rinse it out before drying.

Ok, thanks! I was thinking about buying like a little air blower like for a fish tank to shove in there to blow some air around. Now I won't...

I get water in my DSMBs all the time. If it’s fresh water, I wouldn’t worry about it unless you’re going a long time between dives.

If so, you can use compressed air through the OPV port to disperse the water then partially inflate it and set it in the sun.

A “stick” of newspaper through the OPV port will work, too.

It's ocean water but I could always rinse it I guess. I've hung it in the sun but it doesn't dry LOL

By dsmb lives in my drysuitpocket, doesn't get out of there unless I sive cave/mines. At least it havent failed since 2015, so they do t seem to take much damage from never getting rinsed:)

I'd rather worry about when I'll dive next than about drying the inside of my DSMB :)

After using it, I simply get the water out, fold it, and put everything back together. At the end of the dive, I rinse it folded in freshwater, and that’s it. I've never rinsed the inside and never had a problem.

I put some fresh water in it to get the salt out, I slosh it round and then take off the pull dump and drain the water. I pull it apart the best I can to fluff it up to get air is inside then hang it up.
After the remaining water drains to the lowest point I can dump it again then roll it up and put it away.
I’m actually using a lift bag these days but they are constructed the same way, just a different shape.
