Drying booties?

Yes. Gloves aren't as much a problem as booties, and I cap those ports if I don't use them.

I dry my booties with a towel (i guess newspaper would do the same thing).

Shove the hand towel deep into the toes of your booties and step on the bootie a few times to squeeze the water into the towel.
Then wrap the towel around the bootie and step on it to get the moisture off the outside of the bootie.

My booties take way less time to dry using this method, versus just letting them dry on their own.

Not sure why anyone would let their booties dry out so I don't understand the question. Hmmm, maybe that's why my booties have developed those nice holes in them... for aeration.
