If it fits you it may not be a bad deal, but the size seems to be all out of whack to me. He says the size is an XL short, but in the pics the suit seem to be too tall for him, and he claims to be pretty tall. Also, with the seals being so torn up, you have no idea if the suit has leaks. So the only way to effectively check it is to go in the hole for new seals. Would be a bummer if you went through the cost to find the suit has multiple leaks, or has dryrot. And no, DUI is not notorious for needing new seals, You just have to take a fiew seconds to maintain them properly, and not treat them like an animal, all in all their pretty darn tough. Just MY opinion, but I would keep looking. Good luck!

So what do you all think about this drysuit? Don't know what the reserve is, but I was thinking if I can get it for like $200 than it would be a great buy.

Will need new seals, but arent DUI notorious for needing seals?

new seals may cost you anywhere from $120 to $160. to replace(at a lds more if sent to dui -+ dui leak test fees + shipping costs)..more $ if leaks are found..if suit is as old as I think it is it will need a new zipper..

new zipper can cost $350. + shipping..

now you have invested $700.in a very old used suit..
you can get a new dui cnse for a price around $900. it list at I believe at $1,100..and that would include a dry suit speciality class at my lds..

I just bought a brand new, never been wet TLS 350 off Ebay for $960.

Would not touch this suit with a long pole. The seller obviously knows nothing about it.Goodness only knows what happened to the seals, everything else might be as bad. What type of suit is is? The zip looks like a TLS 350 but the colour inlay does not.Dont see any DUI badges on the suit either.IMHO far too much risk to save a few $$

I'd pass on the old TLS. The things are not known for being overly tough, and an old unknown with torn-to-heck seals is a giant red flag.

You will spend more time and effort trying to repair it than it's worth.

I'de suspect the seller knows a lot about the suit. He's just playing dumb to free himself of responibility for it being a bad suit.

well I am high bidder at 102.50...seems like no one wants to touch this either. I am guessing cause the reserve was not met that he will not be selling it to me, and if he does I will acess the situation when I get the suit. At least the underwear will fit me and that looks to be in good shape. I will let you all know. Did win a pair of Jet Fins today for 26.00 bucks.

I have a TLS350 now but I had a Viking Extreme before. I started working out a lot more and my shoulders got broader so had to sale the Viking, however I was happy with it. My TLS350 is custom. I think that Bob3 said that the Viking Extreme now comes in a front entry version now. You might want to msg Bob3 and see what the current going price is. He has good prices.

I watched it get sold. It was a strange bid that won it.
At about 2 minutes someone beat your bid by 10 dollars, so it was then 112.50...then in the final 10 seconds someone bid $200 on it and won it.
