Someone has probably mentioned this, but what I do with my Viking system is put the glove liners on first. The gloves (black) came with short cuffed black liners that I didn't like at all. I went the the local Army-Navy store a bought two pairs of green wool glove liners for $3.00. I put on the glove liners before I put my hands through the sleeves of the drysuit, so the cuff of the glove is caught in the wrist seal. Then I put on the gloves and snap them into place. This allows the air to migrate in and out of the glove through the wrist seal. I suppose it could be a problem if I put a hole in one of the gloves, but so will a bit of soft tubing or cave line in the seal.

When we are diving in the cold water here in Michigan/Ohio/Canada, it's not unusual to see me or my buddy raise our hands above our head in the water, to let a shot of warm air from the suit migrate into the gloves to warm our hands.

Just my $.02
