Thanks for that input. I’ve seen helpful youtube vid from “becky9” for a method for attaching the 720s with a fold over, but also mixed opinions about the integrity of that method. Will check out those other Ansell glove models. I’m getting close to ordering a Santi suit and doing some prelim research.

the Becky9 way can certainly work. It’s a bit of a hassle I had it leak a few times and I’d generally say it’s requires more fussing with it. I’ve only ever personally tore one of those ansell gloves and I was clearing out a l culvert when it happened. The also provide significantly better dexterity even with heated gloves or other thick gloves than any of the flocked pvc options.

Is there anyone here that can speak to the Santi smart system and which glove they were able to fit best? I'm using Ultima rings with Showa 720s and thin glove liner presently and like the combo. But considering new Santi suit and wondering what is the simplest glove folks are using with the Santi system.
The beauty of the smart system is that you can fit literally any glove to it. Anything with a smooth side will seal into in. You can actually install cotton chore gloves into it if you want. They won't be dry, but you can certainly do it.

Thank you for that.

When you say "smooth side" do you mean the inside or outside? Meaning, any glove with a liner will not make as good a seal against the smart ring as say, a non-lined glove?

May I ask....why do some gloves have a cotton/polly thin woven liner, like in my 720s? Is there a purpose for that - like to create a stronger glove?

Also, NON lined gloves, are these generally easier to install on the smart ring than a lined glove? I don't have my suit and ring kit yet so I have no way to see/feel for myself.

I should have stated...I realize that many lined gloves have a smooth wrist portion that is non-lined. I think my 720s are like that.

Smooth side is the outside. If you have a smooth inner, it is even easier, just wrap it around the inner ring and shove it in place.
The liner helps you slide into them. The rubber inside ones are a pain to get on when your liners are damp. They slide easily against the woven inner.

you not running the glove system just directly putting the gloves into the smart seal where the wrist seal normally goes?

Correct.

Showa Atlas 620s are great.
