Drinking after diving

What is the current DIR lifestyle thought for drinking after diving? I checked through the GUE site but couldn't find any information regarding this topic. I don't abuse alcohol but like to drink a strawberry wine cooler or two after doing my dive. Will this affect me at all? Right now I am not doing agressive dives but plan to in the future.

I forgot to ask this when I took my GUE Fundies course earlier this year. If no one knows the answer, I can ask when I take it again in a few months. But if anyone knows, I would appreciate it!

In fact, I've even carried beer in my pockets so that they will get cold during the dive.

Makes for a funny head to toe.

I think you might be one of the most entertaining forum trolls I've seen in awhile . But to answer your question, as long as your drinking supply is redundant I think it's ok to throw back a few after a dive.

However, contrary to your claim, drinking a strawberry wine cooler is most definitly alcohol abuse. I don't care if you are DIR, a stroke, or a NJ wreck diver, that **** ain't right. Ever.
