I did two dives today at Hedge Cove with John L. Because of the weather today the visibility wasn't too great but was better then I thought it would be. Water was pretty warm, and we saw a 40 lb lobster. The lobster was so big, that I used my knive as a tickle stick. The lobster grabbed my knife chewed it up and soit it right out.

If you want to see pictures of todays dive go to photobucket.com and use stogey as my name and scuplay as the password.

What is the person (JohnL?) on picture 96 doing? Looks like he is holding a tank horizontally in front of him.

Where is Hedge Cove, by the way?

My guess is that it's Cape Hedge right next to Pebble Beach. yes?

>>Cape Hedge<<

Directions: Same as Pebble (#10), but go to end of South St. , it over looks the beach. Parking: Resident only, park at Pebble.
Description: Similar to Pebble, @ south end of beach headland is good place to see stripers in the summer.
Depth: 10' - 35'
Exposure: South East
Feature: Nice rock reef on left, headland on right has interesting rock formations.

That was very much a "DUH!!" moment -- I dove Cape Hedge Beach with Stogey! I just never called it a "cove".

Actually he's adjusting his cup holder on his bc.

Yeah...two good dives. That lobster wasn't just big, I've never seen anything like it.
