Just to make sure I am doing this right...

Right post = primary on 7' hose
Left post = back up reg on 24" + SPG
Argon bottle mounted on BP on side of my choice for trim

Thanks,
Blister

Wing inflator hose on right post as well.

Most people I've seen mount the argon bottle on the left side, upside down. If you put it on the right, it may interfere with your can light placement.

Wing inflation is also on right post.

Yup. Forgot about that pesky hose to inflate the wing :eyebrow:

Jay,

I was always taught that drysuit inflation should never be from your back gas so can I assume that you mean to say that I should have my argon bottle on the left?

Thanks!

Yes..Thats what I meant..the argon bottle is on your left side..
However, if you are running your drysuit inflation off of your backgas..it would be on the left post regulator.....Using backgas for inflation is acceptable...we did it down in Mexico during cave1..I wouldnt want to do it with trimix tho...

I got this pic here that might help.

Backup reg hose length really depends on your first stage/hose routing.

I find that generally 22" is long enough (although 24" works very well for some Apeks).

If you are using a balanced piston first stage like a Scubapro MK25 (see the pic Belmont posted) or Atomic Aquatics M1, where the backup reg hose routes from the bottom port, you may even get away with a 20" hose.

Thanks for the replies!
