The answers are probably buried somewhere on this board but I couldn't find them. I am thinking of building some brackets.

1. Assuming a standard exists, what is the nominal center-to-center distance for double manifolds in the US?

2. What kind of tolerance between manufacturers can be expected?

3. Standard is probably too strong a word, so is there a convention or range for the vertical spacing between the bands (bolt center to center)?

4. Any weird variations of band widths between manufacturers?

Insights, heads-ups, and horror stories are welcome. I have the cylinder dimensions. Discovering fit problems at sea rates pretty low on my fun meter. My doubles are pretty old so I don't want to depend on measurements from them alone.

Thanks.

Stainless is a PITA to work with.
