Should I do it? For the type of diving that I want to pursue, I will have to start diving doubles shortly. I have LP95s that I can double up, but at 5'7" 130#s, those things are looking quite large.

I have dove LP85s and they trimmed out well.

Thanks for the advice.

I have yet to even run low on air with my hp95's, been as deep as I want to go for as long as I can stand it. 130's are huge and heavy

comparing worthington Lp95s to Hp100s:

The lp95's are going to be 7 pounds heavier . 8" diameter instead of 7.25 with the tank height being the same.

I think what they are saying is that they are 5'7" and weigh 130 lbs. They want info on double 95s.

Without knowing what type of diving you are wanting to do makes it somewhat difficult to make suggestions but have you considered getting double AL80s?

Yep, want to know if I am asking for a whole world of hurt if I go with 95s, with regards to weight and trim.

Shore/boat diving, cold water, drysuit. As the result, I would not do double AL80s for the buoyancy characteristics.

I'm 1 inch taller than you and about 15 lbs heavier and I use double lp95's with absolutely no issues. I use mine for wreck and cave diving. Trim out nice.

Was at Ginnie this past weekend and saw a kid... ne a little girl of 14 or 15 years old... maybe 5' and 100#... with dual 95's on her back... carrying them out of the water and too the picnic tables.

I will never complain again about my 85's being heavy... lol

You should be short enough for the 95's to trim out well. If you've already got the tanks, I don't think a set of 85's will be $500 better (the cost of you buying a couple of 85s). Plus it gets you closer to being able to easily match volumes with people diving the popular 130's (which are about 100 cuft at 2640).

Hmm, hard to imagine the parents not minding her having a ruined back when she's older.

I dive double 95's, 5'11" 175ish and have no problem with them at all. Just make sure you have your BP in the right spot on your back and such.
