DEEPLOU:
Today the dive shop recieved a package with the morning mail. It contained the missing artifacts.

Guess getting the word out was effective.

That is very cool that the missing artifcats were returned. The guilt must have haunted whoever it was that took them.

I was In Long Island Scuba this afternoon... I'm taking my OW course there and yes, the artifacts are back in place. Once word got out about fingerprints, the package promptly arrived. It is not going to be persued. If you are in the area, Wellwood Ave in Lindenhurst, stop by and check out the display.

For those of you on Long Island, LI Scuba is a great shop. The owner Ralph knows his stuff. Great instuctors and they have their own pool!

Disclaimer: I don't work for or have worked for LI Scuba, just use their facilities.

nice from the thief to return the artifacts, but it was a vicious act in the first place anyway,right............i,m glad for the rightful Owner to have his stuff back.peace

grunzster:
Just saw this in Rodales.

Unfortunately, it doesn't mention Pat Rooney the diver who recovered all those artifacts from the Doria and was kind enough to lend them to the shop for display.

If your ever in the area, come in see the display, say hello.
