Since nobody here wants to dive till MAY 2003 :(

I decided to take couples of weekend road trip just in order to dive.

Please post your

1) favorite Diving venue (Quarry , river ...etc.)

2) the site dive attraction

3) the water temp at this time of the year (Dec - April)

4) webpage/URL of the site

5) Other advice, tips ..etc.

Please please please .......... i cant wait to go down underwater again ASAP !!

1) favorite Diving venue :

a mile or so off the coast of Massachusetts, between Boston and Cape Cod.

2) their dive attraction :

I don't know who "they" are, but the site has a good cross section of North Atlantc marine life, wreckage of old lighthouse, debris from numerous shipwrecks, excellent multi-level dive potential in novice-accessable depths, good lobstering and spearfishing, never crowded, usually good visibility for the region.

3) the water temp at this time of the year (Dec - April) :

Cold... most locals won't dive it with 7mm neoprene this time of year. Expect 36 to 42 degrees off season, and up to 70 at the end of summer.

4) webpage/URL of the site :

It's a location, not a commercial enterprise. Here's a map: http://mapserver.maptech.com/homepa...e/index.cfm&bpid=MAP0060030900&latlontype=DMS

5) Other advice, tips ..etc.

Boat access only. Keep an eye on currents, and dive at slack tide. Use a flag, and be cautious... lobstermen fish in this area, and aren't always diver-friendly. Avoid diving near marked traps. Best bet is to anchor nearby, and approach with a launch.

1) La Paz, Mexico

2) Reefs, tons of active marine life (seals, hammerhead sharks, matas, eels, etc.), and some wonderful hosts / hostesses

3) Probably mid 70's this time of year

4) www.clubcantamar.com

5) Take your time and enjoy the view here. Tons to see...plenty of animals to play with.

Most Frequented Spot

1) The ohio quarries

2) Planes and trucks that people sink

3) Don't know...my gauge doesn't like going below 60

4) do you really want to know?

5) Dive dry

OOPS!!!maybe I should read the topic...
