Devils Lake: The last couple of weeks I would put it at 4'-6' on the northeast side. Was a little better on Thursday, maybe 6'-8'. Definately better below the cline, but it was down to 59 deg. at around 30' last week. But then I made the mistake of going over to look for somebody's lost ring on Lake Wisconsin Friday. Can you say 1 foot! Okay, I'm being a little generous... 10 inches of muck on the bottom where he thinks he lost it. I still haven't gotten the smell out of my wetsuit!

Yep been there! The inland lakes are realy getting bad-Too much rain, late in year, and all the wind-Wish it would warm up and get some dog days HOT-NO Wind! and Lake Michigan would calm down viz would clear up nice,we will see! Im still looking for that clear lake in Wisconsin worth the drive to do the dive!
North Central Floridians got it made in the shade with the diving the springs, cant wait to get back!
Thanks for the info!what area are you from?

I'm in the diving capitol of Wisconsin...Green County. We have a lake in the county, oh, and the lovely flowing waters of the Sugar River ;)
