Does the Canon A590 fit in the canon cousing for the A570?

Hi folks, last year about this time I bought a canon A570 from the recommendations on this site. Soon after my dive trip, the selector wheel wouldn't work on movie. It will stay on the selection but the camera would stay on stitch assist. So now I need to either buy another one, but there's a better price on the A590. They look the same. Will it fit into the canon housing I have for the A570? Also, are the features the same? For example the movie mode runs as long as there is space on the media card? Is it the same memory card?
