Diver Dennis:
My dentist told me. And he is a really good dentist.

Does he grow talking plants too?

Well they don't talk but he does have this big shed out back of his house where he grows some plants for medical use.

Not quite where I was going with that one....:D try again

whenever I have finished a dive on Nitrox, I have come out of the water feeling ready to go for another dive. I usually feel a little unwell after a dive on regular air. Not sick or about to throw up, but just not 100%

Wow, I am amazed, we have tilted way over to favoring nitrox: 54 for and 46 against....

I would find it very hard to accept this as a "Fluke" or the "Placebo Effect"...

I would very much question the only study that refuted this widely accepted belief... Mainly because it involved only 11 participants..

The only time I do feel better is if I deco on 100%. I find that a deep stop and a very slow ascent for the last 15' really makes a difference. I do think I feel better after a week of 4 a days on Nitrox but not necessarily after each dive.

Dive operators and dive shops everywhere want you to think you feel better. Nitrox is a money maker. So go feel better and lighter in the wallet.

But what about the people who don't pay extra for nitrox?

The way I feel has nothing to do with a dive op or shop - and please not how "I" feel...

I didn't pay extra for my Nitrox thanks to a friend.

I only stated how I feel after 1 dive... after 3 dives a day on regular air, I actually feel almost sea sick.

3 dives on nitrox (36) and I felt as good as I felt before the dives.

I find that slow ascents make me feel good.

Yes, especially the last 15 feet or so. Take a good minute+ to ascend after the stop and it is like night and day.

I have to say that air covers me just fine 99% of the time and I think air is underappreciated.
