The legs are too short. You will have a hard time supressing water flow.

The legs and arms might be a little short...maybe not a big deal. Otherwise, it looks like it fits fine.
You are too tall for a M/L which is Medium/Large, that is why you feel pulled down from the shoulders. You need a Medium Long or Large Long. I know AquaLung makes Medium, Large. and XLarge Longs in the AquaFlexand a number of other suits. Sorry, but the guys who told you that was a good fit are boneheads.
