OKay, everyone who has noted that this is a resurrected ancient thread..
Please read post #34 all the way to the end. It holds the reason for the resurrection, and I think it's one of those very rare times that a long dormant thread should be activated. I very much enjoyed that post.

I did LMAO when I saw post 34 - got it immediately
I too met my wife through scuba, and after your post I kinda totted things up. I'm not into rebreathers - nor tech (don't let the 24 cylinders outside my hose fool you - some belong to my wife 
) I haven't' gotten into rebreathers nor got past rescue.
But in the last two years including 3 vacations it seems you could buy a brand new BMW 4 series convertible for the money i've spent :-S And then of course to haul my and my wifes gear I needed a new truck - so add the cost of a 2014 Ford raptor to that.. And then there is the gear I've brought for my wife
But that's' it. no more I'm done. No wait there's a shiny thing in the LDS with my name on it.....
