Hi,

I just want to know if anybody has used the i-torch tek as a backup light in an overhead environment.

The light looks pretty good but I cannot find comments about it.

I'm looking for reliable backup lights, LED, compact, good narrow and bright beam and AAA or AA battery type.
I like the fact of be able to use rechargeable batteries, with the sanyo eneloop the self discharging is not a problem.

Regards,
Andres

I use Oxycheq Raider 1's, they are LED, pretty tight beam and use 3 AA batteries. Twist on/off bezel aluminum light casing etc. Pretty solid light, though there's lots out there, many people like Halcyon Scouts as well.

Andres,

We have sold a lot in our shop and the guys have been taking them down to cave country, they have been quite happy with them so far.
