OC Trimix?

150 meters capable
The market for these 2 things is a literally a mere handful of folks around the world. Good luck, more for the dives than finding an actual good computer as there are a couple listed earlier.

Other than rebreather specific controllers is basically shearwater and ratio. Garmin might be getting there but given the poor battery life I won't be taking it on any long deco dives.

Suunto Eon Steel works with trimix to 160m and can use Buhlman algorithm.

But what about Shearwater is making you look for an alternative?

Regarding the Halcyon unit.
The Symbios Handset has been tested to a depth to a depth of 200m to ensure water integrity with additional cycle tests at 120m over 200 repetitive cycles to ensure pressure resistance and water integrity under frequent stress. It is possible that the spring-loaded buttons will not operate efficiently on dives below 120m. This does not indicate a structural limitation or risk of water ingress but is the reason Symbios computers are rated for 120m.

I am about to buy a new computer.
Nothing against Shearwater, but all my searching leads me to the Petrel and Perdix. I guess that making a dive computer for a few dozen idiots worldwide is not profitable.

Ratio full Trimix computer is $1300. Looks impressive

I use a couple of old Suunto VYTEC as bottom timers. They give depth to 150 meters. Fit for purpose for diving the plan. And they are cheap, if you can even find these "ancient artifacts of a lost civilization".

I think you analyzed the market correctly.
My next idiotic idea is to run a non-profit open source collaborative for making a simple ZHL-16 GF computer. No navigation. no AI. Minimal logbook. "Next dive plan only. Never locks(looking at you Suunto). 150 meter depth. full trimix.
Like a cellphone in a case taking the Subsurface or multideco algorithm and adding a depth guage. A cheap android phone is now your wrist console. No idea if this would even be possible, but I chew crayons and still can't do 1+1.

AV1 is underrated, but is an excelent piece of gear, have both the controller and the Hud S
Although the war make Alexey Vazinsky dificult to contact (always kind and prone to help)
There's a sales representative in Bulgária who sell them
