DMT in PG

I am going over to PI in 2 days. I am thinking about doing my DM course in PG. Do you guys think this is a good place to do it? Are there any other locations that may be better for me. Right now I am kinda into Macro, but I like everything. I am really looking for a decent coarse, a location where I can learn a few things.

Originally I was planning a dive trip over there, but now am leaning more towards doing my coarse work. Thoughts, or opinions??

Well, if you want a "course" that is worthwhile go to the DIVE DOJO in Puerto Galera. Tell Ethei I sent you. You will earn your DM!

I agree with babyD and actualy did my DM course with Divedojo and had the time of my life! They taught me tons of stuff and are a top notch operation.

This said, no matter what dive operation you choose, make sure to have a sit down chat with the instructor (or phone call at least) about the course and how it will go about, and especially to see if you hit it off. The course, how it is conducted and what you learn will vary greatkly from instructor to instructor and you need to make sure the course suits what you are looking for!

PG is a great place to do this course since it's basically a dive oriented location (OK, it's also oriented towards other nocturnal activities, but that's another story...) and has a great variety of diving situations/ conditions from which you can learn a lot. drift, wreck, deep, shallow, Rec, Tech, etc... they pretty much have it all!

I had a blast while I was there and my only complaitn about the place is that I can't make it there to dive every week-end (which I'll admit is at least in part my fault...). I can't wait to go back, even though it won,t be in the immediate future...
