Bimini Top Accessories (eye end), 3/4" PVC, PVC Cement, SS Screws LocLine end, SS Hardware, small bike innertube, Paint, and sweat. Bimini eye end is ~1.4" so will add washers or spacer to space and hole is 1/4" so drill to 5/16"

Starboard type hi density plastic 1/2" thick cut strips ~ 1" wide ~ 3.5" long, SS Screws/washers etc LocLine end, Paint, and sweat. Used a material I had left over that is stronger, lighter and lighter than Starboard, you could get a 1/2" thick hi density plastic cutting board and use that also for the strips. 1/4" hole in one end spaced appropriately for LocLine end piece and 5/16" hole in the other (used YS Ball Connector slug as template for hole position) This appears to be the better of the two solutions and is the cheaper, only real cost would be LocLine piece and a couple of bucks for hardware. I wondered about the right angle orientation of the connector but turns out, seems optimal, you could vary the length of the strip to gain height, or add more Locline to gain width and or height.
