This may seem like an odd question, but is it possible to make your own LP hoses? Not as in fabricating the material and fittings, but attaching the fittings to a length of LP hose that you cut? I haven't seen or heard of this, but I find it hard to believe that EVERYBODY pays between 25 and 40 dollars for a 7 foot regulator hose....
