Oh, and I went to Menard's
Nice. I don’t have that store in my state, but I’m sure it will be about the same price. Currently using a rolling metal rack that used to be a “rolling closet” for visitors. Corroded now, so I’ll be building one of these.

I would imagine you don’t use any glue at the joints, so you can break down the rack if necessary?

Yeah, it is kept inside so I didn't see the need to seal it, and like you said, I can break it down if needed although some of those joints are TIGHT!

Thank you for the info. I’ll be putting one together real soon. May I ask how much weight you’ve tossed on the rack, (guesstimate of course 😊)

That much, BP/W will have a hanger soon from the bottom rack

So, I will give you some suggestions. If you size your PVC correctly you can insert a wooden dowel on the cross pieces, I believe I used 1.25" PVC and 1" dowel. Also, glue the ends onto the cross pieces, you don't want that to separate under load. I also glued the fittings at angle to maintain the angle, mine wanted to slip down and found boots on the ground. I also sized mine to fit on a large dog crate tray, it catches water, then dries naturally. Mine is just wide enough for a wetsuit width and BC lower in front. I will have to take some pictures.

Thank you very much for the suggestions. I look forward to viewing a photo when you get around to it. 😊

Ps- your profile picture is very nice. Did you have any specific settings on your camera when you took the image?

Sorry, I cannot take credit for photo, borrowed it from internet. I dive to relax and photography is not part of that plan.
