I've been looking at:
http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/making-your-own-gear/123674-diy-dry-glove-rings-gloves-18-a.html

and I was wondering if anyone else had tried it? I went by Home Despot today and got the following:

$1.18 3" PVC Coupling
$3.97 31100 Eureka Uprights Style RD belt
$5.99 Working Hands PVC coated glove

A friend is going to cut the couplings in half and grove them for me.

The belts are basically a set of rings, approx 1/4" in cross-section diameter that stretch slightly to go over the coupling. The OP mentions that there are other slightly smaller belts and I may go research at Austin Vacuum Cleaners.

HD had 2 styles of heavier gloves. The Medium Neoprene coated glove didn't want to stretch over the coupling. The size Large Neoprene and the Med Blue Smurf-ish glove stretch over the coupling smoothly. Not sure how smooth it will be when I'm working it all into the ring grove. But after I played with it I think the ring will be tight enough. Still need to get some glove liners, but if this works it's priced right.

Pointers?
