My understanding is that the conventional advice is no diving unless seizure free for a year, and even then diving should be done with a full-face mask, and in compliance with Handicaped Scuba Association guidelines.

I hope you one year only if with full-face mask...? DAN says 5 years, right?

What does that Assn say about diving on seizure meds...??
 
I thought the 1 year, no seizure recomendation was UHMS, but then there may be a more recent DAN recomendation of 5 years, I don't know.

I've learned a lot from the doctor's posts above. You may want to review those. An excerpt from one above...

As can be seen in the DAN and UKSDMC links in my prior post, the rule of thumb for diving is five years seizure free and off medication. Where the seizures were exclusively nocturnal, this can be reduced to three years.

I did read them, they do not mesh with my memory, but then memory's the first thing to go ... and I've forgotten the second.<G>
