The wisdom 3 is date as well it just has new face on it. Go with the cobra 3 it has the electronic compass and the dual RGBN model and big numbers.

Thanks so much for these replies... I'm really glad I posted, I would have been going in a completely different direction.
Although it changes every couple days, I think if I was to walk into my LDS tomorrow It'd be:
Apeks XTX200's with an XTX50 octo (this year's model, with mylar hoses)
Transmitter for Suunto D4i
Suunto Zoop
brass and glass mechanical SPG
Suunto SK7 compass (and DSS mount)
Zeagle Stiletto
I'm hoping my LDS will recommend some options for an SMB, spool and knife. If I'm feeling particularly wealthy, I may add some prescription Atomic Sub Frames to this purchase.
Now all I gotta do is go for a walk...
