At the west coast of Norway I experienced having 15 killer whales in the water around me. That was at the end of a dive where we had seals playing in the kelp forest.

Yes, scuba diving with killer whales is highly recommended. Just as good as with whale sharks, but colder :)
 
Yes, they are clever guys at Stromsholmen Dive Center. They do killer whale safaris.

When I had all these killer whales in the water around me, I was actually not on such a safari and had no expectations of seeing any.

Going on for instance a whale shark safari in Thailand, you get a little disappointed if you don't see any - particularly the year after seeing 6 on one trip (like I did in 98) :rolleyes:
