Has anyone dove with the false killer whales at Ocean Adventures Park in Subic Bay? That's on my list of things to do when I get to the Phillippines. Hopefully someone can share their experience if they done it.

Thanks,

Lock Washer

I have, about 2 years ago, and it was terrific. Kinda expensive but worth it, these are not your regular , flipper looking dolphins though I heard those are available now too--diving with bottlenosed dolphins. have fun. mae sure you geta photo taken, sayang to sepnd that much cash and nothing to show for it.

Is the diving in Subic worthwhile also? I figure if I doing the whale dive at Ocean Adventures, I might get some Subic Bay Diving in? Also has anyone been to the bar called "Mango's" in Subic Bay?

if you're already there to dive with the whales, a few wreck dives would make your trip worth it. i really enjoyed diving the ex-uss new york.

Lock Washer, I planned to take that dive tour back in 2003 but they told us we'd be able to interact with the whales more if we just swam with them. It was an exhilarating experience for me and my daughter (who was 8 at the time) although in retrospect, I bet the whales weren’t as thrilled as we were. I think there are some controversies regarding the safety this tour (for both the whales and the divers/swimmers) that we weren't aware of back then. Anyway, here are some pictures.

I guess diving with them will be just as great because you'll get to see how they move underwater.
