I'm a Fish!
So I actually have 2 widsom teeth that are messed up. Like, I think one is actually falling apart. Yes, I didn't go to the dentist for a long time. I have them scheduled to come out next week, but I have some pool-time scheduled for this weekend.

My question is: Will these messed up wisdom teeth present any sort of hazard to me in the pool? Max depth will be 15ft.

Hi Ice9,

Provided that neither is abscessed or in any state of restoration, nor so rotten that a piece may break loose and thus form a potential object for aspiration, they should cause no difficulty in pool sessions no deeper than 15'.

This is educational only and does not constitute or imply a doctor-patient relationship. It is not medical advice to you or any other individual and should not be construed as such.

If ya gotta lose teeth, Wisdoms are the ones - you're lucky. Had mine surgically removed when I was a kid, growing crooked - back when anesthesia was still pretty archaic.

Take care of the others, tho - dentures are a pain.
