I have a few vintage dive watches but the only one that's gotten wet is modern a Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster "EcoZilla". I just couldn't bring myself to flood an old watch. When I switched to Shearwaters, the watches stayed on the boat.

I bought a fake Rolex Submariner in Mexico in the late 1970's for $20. That thing lasted 20 years before it just stopped working. It kept great time and I used it diving all the time. I got "oos and ahs" from co-workers. It always looked good, save for the back that no one could see anyway where the plating was wearing off. :)
