Diving this weekend?

Are you doing Cat from the boat? I thought about it, but climbing down the snowy/icy rocks seemed like a bad plan.

I only do Cat as a winter shore dive actually....during the boat season I prefer to hit other sites. This past Saturday we hit it at dead low tide. We make a few trips down with the gear, coming up we wear it all. You definitely need to be careful with your footing. We don't do Cat in ice or snow. Sat the rocks going down were clear. There was some sea ice close to the water but believe it or not, it was not slippery. It was just partially frozen sea water and actually offered traction. I'm not kidding...I carefully scoped it out before we suited up.
