New OW diver here. My daughter and I are going dive the PCB St. Andrews Jetties this weekend. We have, up to now, been diving the local rock quarry. Question we have is this - what type of exposure protection is recommended? We'll be doing a single tank dive at high tide, so I am assuming water temperature is not a concern, but critters may be. Options are:

1 - long sleeve rash guard with board shorts with/without gloves

2. 3mm "shortie" with/without gloves

3. 3mm full wetsuit with/without gloves

Thanks in advance!

Water temp is mid 80's. I've been using a 1 mil wetsuit, mostly to protect myself from scrapes and jellies. I get a little chilly after a couple of hours, but an OC dive single tank, you probably won't get cold.

Don't forget your dive flag. FWC has been known to follow bubbles and wait for flagless divers to ascend and cite them.
