I've stayed at Hawk's Cay Resort in Duck Key with my teens. The place is crawling with kids and teens and non-diving or non-fishing wives. It has a lagoon and several pools. Not much in the way of beaches in the Keys. You can dive the Thunderbolt in Marathon which is very close. A bit south is Looe Key which I happen to like. And of course, drive north to dive around Islamorada, Tavenier and Key Largo.

It's one of the nicest places in the Keys

You can jetski, parasail, kayak and any other vacation type activity you would want to do in the water. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo with kitchen.

Yes, I agree Hawk's Cay is very nice. I think they have 5 restaurants and three pools! I like Parto Cayo the best, good cheap pizza, with a white table cloth! Very nice atmosphere, boating, fishing, diving, jet skis, parasailing, regular sailing, dolphins. They have a mini lagoon too. Something for all to do.

Ooops, this is an old thread....oh well.

I appreciate the input none the less! Not sure when we are going to get down to the Keys, but be certainly will eventually and I appreciate the comments.
