Have you tried Marthas Quarry? I cant find the website but here is some info. form Lakediver.com

There's also LochLowMinn in Athens, Tn., Madisons Quarry down near Huntsville, Al.
Both are nice quarries. Each of the quarries mentioned; along with Marthas that Mopar mentioned should be within a couple hrs. drive. I have dived the Tn. river in downtown Chattanooga and it can be a decent dive when the current is down and vis is up to 5ft. or better.
