Did you even read this thread, Jam? yea, i like the hat and i loved the movie and I love tech divers. men and women tech divers.

I dive as safe as possible, there are one or two people that are on thid board that would vouch for me. I don't take risks that are poorly calculated. I take the same care with diving as I did as a paramedic and as a team leader in the military. I can be of no use to anyone if I am incapacitated or dead. Safety first and foremost; I still don't want to have to explain to a loved one why someone isn't coming home. If there is even a doubt, the dive, the summit or excercise is over.

Blitz may have a lot to be proud of concerning his diving, but diving deep should never be done in a way where one feels that he cheated death, or that he's doing something that's actually tough - those days are long over.
