Hey Bob

Your pretty close to Lake Wazee in Black River Falls and Red granite quarry. Everything else I know of would be a haul. Lake Michigan is tempermental, but a road trip to Door county would work as you can almost always shore dive there. I would suggest you contact the Hammerheads dive club. They have a chapter in Stevens Point. They would certainly be in tune with local diving oppurtunities as well as being a potential source of dive buddies. Another source would be Wisconsin Scuba board. If your thinking about heading down to the Port Washington area, contact myself or Moneysavr(he also posts to this board) We have our own boats, albeit small ones, and dive the local wrecks on a regular basis. Dive safe.

Jim

Door County would be worthy of a couple of shore dive. There is a wreck off Jacksonport that can be shore dived.

For a decent listing of dive spots in WI, you might check out www.lakediver.com on the interactive map (click on the state of interest). If you have more spots to add, submit them! Thanks for the help!
