I'm making plans for next year's Big Adventure!

Has anyone gone diving in Central Sulawesi? I'd love to hear about your trip!

Thanks:D
Pamela

Are you planning on the Togian Islands? Sorry I have not been there myself, but some of our team are heading there next month. Thus far I have heard people say it's a jewel - not quite undiscovered, but certainly uncrowded, quiet, non touristy with healthy reefs, masses of marine life etc..

There's also the Prince John dive resort near Palu (Tanjung Karang beach, Donggala). Its a nice area, very laid back, but I only did snorkelling there. I tried a "google", but most pages and reports that came back were in german (as the management are german). I was last in Sulawesi in 2002, and some piccies in my tagline.

WOW BH!

Your photos are just gorgeous!!!!

Thanks so much for the info, as they say a photo is worth umpteen jillion words!

Hey Pamela, glad you like them! Maybe you've already found it, but one very useful website for Sulawesi is http://www.sulawesi-info.com/ And if you're possibly considering travelling by PELNI ferry (say getting from Makassar to Bau Bau, and then on to Palu Hoga (near the famous Wakatobi resort)), then there's a new 'user friendly' PELNI schedule website here: http://www.worldtrippin.be/pelni/ Have fun!
