A roll of duck tape is cheaper....and you can get multiple uses out of it...

She can save that for patching holes. :)

However, that takes the 'warm' out of a drysuit. I was shivering by the end of the day in an 80o pool since we all stood or sat in the water to prevent overheating.

If you're that intolerant to cold, ditch the Fusion, get a CN suit or something similar thats warmer and isn't as difficult to manage the bubble in then add a suit heater to it.

The photo is a time-proven solution that takes a very long time to wear out

Seriously, even that doesn’t work all that great. Pressurizing old heavy gear suits (which you often did intentionally) would cause the ankles to blow up between the lacings and the lead-sole shoes like an old lady with edema.

Thanks to a PM, here's another gaiter: Bare.

$104 for Halcyon . . . :shocked2:

I've got a pair of barely used "Small" Halcyon ones you're welcome to try out. If they work for you, they're yours for $50. Shoot me a PM if with your address if interested.

Jax...when you get the floaty feet and extra air in the legs....do you feel squeeze anywhere...if you have enough air that moves to your legs to cause a problem you should in theory feel a little squeeze in other locations...I'm almost thinking like CD in that you might have too much in the suit....

Also...what kind of undergarments are you wearing under your fusion....

Yes, I tend to get a little squeeze in the shoulders. In the fusion, the bubble move is slow, but it moves. Hitting zero trim allows it to migrate to the calf.

As an experiment to see if gaiters will help, try wrapping your legs with ace bandages, heavy plastic stretch wrap, or even duct tape. This will give you a better idea of how effective they will be in your particular case.
