Who's getting wet? ( aside from the rain we're supposed to get?)
I'm looking to dive tomorrow ( Friday) and /or Saturday /Sunday.
Maybe Cape Ann?

I'm hoping to get in Sat but the marine forecast does not look promising. I'm sure you could find a protected shore spot.

Sunday looks like be best of all days weatherwise but the vis may be poor from being churned up so badly.

weather is crappy this weekend, unless it's a super shelter cove...but that quarry sounds divable!

scubastew come join us....I can even carpool with ya if you don't take up too much space in my altima;-P(but i will be there both days so you would have to plan on that too)

FYI - Cape Ann Divers has cancelled charters for tomorrow due to weather. I know because I took a day off work to be on one!!!

It sucks, but at least I didn't drive 3+ hours before finding it out!

I tried booking another charter somewhere else, but everyone else was saying that it looks like bad weather no matter what. Any ideas?

No other ideas here. I don't live too far from Cape Ann so I would be willing to drive up there tomorrow and check the conditions and go if it seems ok. But since you are driving from CT...that wouldn't make sense for you.
Might have to sit out tomorrow and Saturday...sigh....
Could dive the quarry, but not a lot to see, and no lobsters there.

There is plenty to see, about a whole lot of years of history in those walls.. Great Wall diving, with plenty of artifacts to be found.. You can see where the workers just stopped working, and left their tools in rare spots, hammers, drill rods, and Carp the size of a German Sheppard.. Nevermind we are organizing a full-fledge clean up brigade witht the Portland Volunteer Navy, anytime a diver has a "Mission" its always fun..
