Hi all, need some help here. My friends and I will be diving in Malapascua on the 10th-15th Dec.
I heard about the tropical storm "Seniang" which will hit Cebu & Malapascua next week :(
Hopefully someones who are familiar with the area can shed some light with us regarding the conditions there???

Thanks!

what you need to do is go to a page like this one:

http://tsr.mssl.ucl.ac.uk/

at the moment the storm is still to the east of the philippines so the area is fine until tomorrow or the day after.. it is forecast as a tropical storm at the moment, not a typhoon. But, it will certainly make the seas very rough in that area, and in fact i would recommend going elsewhere at first if you are due to arrive on the 10th, i would think the waters would not be very diveable and therefore difficult to actually get to the island itself..
keep your eye on the weather webpages for further updates

edit: i just looked at my own link.... it is starting to turn further north from Cebu...

hope it doesn't hit hard like the last one (reming/durian).
