Cebu Recommendations for Tentative Beginner?

Thank you all very much for this info, that is exactly what I needed to know! Okay so decided to do Moalboal then and hold on Malapascua until she is more experienced. It also sounds like quite a fun place to go in general so will be perfect for this trip and allow her to get some more hours of experience in the water. We are based in Singapore so luckily it's not too far to go when we are ready to get back to Malapascua for the threshers! Thanks again gang!

There is varied marine life, and a lot of macro, in Malapascue not just Threshers. But I agree, do to time constraints and diver experience it would be better to go elsewhere.
