Diving Around Thanksgiving in Maine?

Hey all, my girlfriend is dragging me up to meet some of her family for the holiday, so I'm hoping that someone up there is still diving. I figured if she was going to pull me up there kicking and screaming I might as well make the best of it...

What part of Maine are you going? You could always call the LDS in the area I know they go out about every weekend, mostly shore dives. You could try Barclays in Auburn or the Divers Locker in Lyman.

Bad news... The Divers Locker closed down 2 weeks ago. Sad to say, I miss having the LDS 1/2 mile from home. :06:

The good news is that we have a network of over a dozen divers and some of us hope to still be diving at Thanksgiving. We are mainly diving in the Kittery to Cape Elizabeth range. PM me FMI.

Btw, I think someone bought the Diver's Locker from Mike... Setting up shop in wells I think. Thought Mike said the new name was going to be "Wells Quarry Divers"?

If want to watch others dive, go to Nubble light. United divers of NH does their annual Nubble light night dive on 26th. York lights up the lighthouse for holiday season with over 2000 spectators. UDNH put's in a lighted Xmas tree underwater around 1PM and raises it just before the lighting ceremony around 6:30PM.

Absolutely. Just plan to be there early to get a spot so can gear up next to entry/exit point.
