Diving at altitude has proven to be controversial at times, and it has been my experience that not many people understand why diving at altitude should be any different from diving at sea level. I recently wrote a very brief blog about it, the main purpose of which was to introduce two far more complete articles that I wrote that go into the two key issues of diving at altitude:
  1. to what degree do I have to adjust my diving, and why do I have to adjust it?
  2. How about driving home to a higher altitude? DO I have to wait before doing that?
The blog that introduces it all can be found here.
The two articles can be found here.

I hope Rocky Mountain Divers will find something useful in those articles.
