Everything has been cleared up to my satisfaction. Thank you DD for a timely resolution. I only wish the staff was more informed of the warranty procedures for the manufacturer's items they sell to avoid this from happening.

Yup - agreedNo...but I've remained loyal to my LDS for nearly 26 years now, and they take really good care of me. I wouldn't go to anyone else but my LDS for service unless I had a breakdown when I was out of town. I'm really sorry to hear what a hassle you are having, and I know it's a trip for you to get up here too. So. Many. Trips.

I have purchased eq from them over the years (Zeagle B/C, for example) and have had positive experiences at their Dania, WPB, and Key Largo locations- never had eq serviced there because I have a LDC I've used since 1979, so I can't comment on that aspect of their business.
NEVER (especially when they were wrong!!!) acceptable to give anything but polite responses to a customer -
That said, I know the owner, and a sharper, more competent, more caring, business person would be hard to find - he built that business from a dive shop in the Keys into one of the most significant in the industry.
