i've purchased the Dive Rite BC (TransPac™ Harness) with the traviller wings. it fist my body right but the problem is that the top of the tank and the regulator always hits my top back of my head.

i've tried to lower the tank but it seems that it dosent work. i'm 1.76m high and 86Kg weight. my body can be measured as M/L

Can any one help me to find a way to fix this:shakehead

It is likely more a problem of tank angle than height. Try taking in the crotch strap a little and make sure the waist strap is nice and snug. You may also want to remove the lower back padding... nice for doubles but pretty useless for singles.
Rick

If you bought it at a dive shop, it's apparent they really didn't fit you for the system - so you have grounds to ask them to take it back, or help you adjust it correctly.

But I agree with Rick on everything he said. If you don't yet have a crotch strap on it, you're likely pulling the shoulder straps too tightly to get it to fit snugly. A crotch strap will hold the rig lower on the body, allowing you to loosen your shoulder straps, and thus pulling that nasty first stage away from your head.

Thanks allot

It seems that you may be right, two things i was not comfortable with on yesterday dive are that the crotch strap was loose and the waist strap was also loose cause it interfered with my weight system.

i'll try it again and update you

I have the TransPlate and dont use the c-strap. At first my head too hit the tank, but what I did was change the mounting holes that the wing was mounted into. I think....it has been a while....but I think I took the wing off and mounted it as high as I could. Give that a try and see if it works for you.

Rich - I don't think that's an option with the DR travel wing. That's their only wing that doesn't use mounting holes, it just sorta threads on.

Interesting....did not know that. I have the Rec wing.

I don't think you can use the Travel Wing with a backplate. I use the Venture Wing.
