The Voyager wing, which has a cross of webbing in the center rather than a solid center like most wings, works way better with a STA. You can use it without one but it's far from ideal.

The bolts are embedded in the lead weight that goes inside the Halcyon STA, so replacing them is a non-starter. Cutting and cleaning them would be ideal, and I may pursue that option one day. For now, I have just stopped using it. But since I really like it with my 7mm suit, I may tackle the project one day.
I'm selling mine and getting a 6mm Tecline plate.
