Coast Guard searching for missing diver off Marquesas Key
Coast Guard crews were searching the waters off the Marquesas Keys Wednesday for a 46-year-old man who never returned from a dive.

According to the Coast Guard, a friend reported the man missing at about noon Wednesday.

The man, who was last seen wearing a camouflage wetsuit, was about nine miles southwest of the Marquesas Keys, about 20 miles west of Key West.

The man's dive buoy and spear gun were found in the water.

A Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater MH-60 helicopter crew, an Air Station Miami HC-144 Ocean Sentry and a Station Key West 33-foot boat crew were out looking for the diver.

Missing diver is still missing, six days later. That does not bode well
Coast Guard on Sept. 13 identified him as:
Osvaldo Lopez, age 46.
No hometown or other information available.
