Hello. I just red it in lithuanian newspaper. 52 year old female diver from Lithuania died after the dive in Malta this Monday (May 19th). She did not feel well before the dive, but still proceeded to dive. She had to make an emergency ascent. Does anyone have more info about this?

It appears from the report in The Malta Indepenent, that she had not entered the water. No mention of emergency ascent.

"A tourist died this afternoon as she was preparing to dive off Cirkewwa. The woman, 52, from Lithuania, was with a group of divers and instructors when she felt unwell. She was rushed to hospital, where she died. The incident happened at about 2 pm. An autopsy will be held to establish the cause of death."

Wether or not she had entered the water, the age and the fact that he felt bad, then collapsed kinda sound like cardiac issues...
