I’ve dove Shark Tank. It’s pretty exciting dive alright. You just stay in the group, have your buddy watching your back & vice versa. Also wear blue / black gears, including gloves on your hands to make sure the hands don’t like file-o-fish.

Also, keep your eyes on the Tigers. Forget other fishes. Otherwise this what would happen to you:

Whoa! Where was this?

I doubt the hood has much to do with this.
The diver's arms are fully white and tasty as well... the shark goes for the small head instead.

I wonder if this is how they score sea turtles, one of the natural prey. Decapitate first?

So far so good in Fuvahmulah. Firstly the hark feeding area is on a sloping wall that drops off. Divers are down around 11m and the tigers feed area is around 8m. Now today getting to the feedin area Tigers are already cruising the wall and that's great.

The other thing is that 5 tigers followed us back to the boat at the end of the dive. You do really need to pay attention as we had Tigers below and at same level circling around. Some coming very close. If you want to know what it's like to be a hunted prey animal and how slow you are in the water this is exciting.

Thing is don't panic and keep in your group. Do not just depend on guides to watch out for you. Even the best guide will miss a shark from time to time. We did not have any Tigers charge at us today but it happened a couple of days ago to a guide with a shark he knows well. He's is Tiger expert marine biologist doing research work here. Great to dive with him as well.

We also have long poles so keep them verticle so Tigers can't get a bite on them so easily. We also have 5 guides to 8 - 10 divers.

Also yesterday got video of a Whale Shark here around 4.5m long. Seen white and black tipped sharks, eagle rays but no hammerheads. The dive shop left some cameras out and hot some hammerheads at 8am in the morning but we were at another location.
